Under California law, your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific body shop. You have the legal right to choose any licensed repair facility — including Accent Collision. If your insurer tries to steer you elsewhere, you can decline and bring your vehicle to us. We’ll work directly with your adjuster to ensure your claim is processed correctly.

How Direct Insurance Billing Works

1. File your claim with your insurance company and get a claim number
2. Bring your vehicle to us — or call and we’ll help arrange a tow
3. We contact your insurer directly — our team handles all communication with your adjuster
4. We document all damage and submit the supplement if additional damage is found during repair
5. Your insurance pays us directly — you only pay your deductible
6. Pick up your repaired vehicle — backed by our lifetime warranty

What About My Deductible?

Your deductible is your out-of-pocket responsibility under your policy — we cannot waive it by law. However, if the accident was the other driver’s fault, their insurance (third-party liability) typically covers the full cost with no deductible from you.

If your policy includes rental coverage, we can help coordinate a rental car for the duration of your repair. Ask us when you drop off your vehicle and we’ll walk you through the process.
